Jurek Meemken

Jurek Meemken:

Group CEO and Managing Director of SUNCATCHER Greenfield GmbH

Jurek Meemken founded SUNCATCHER in mid-2018 and has served as CEO ever since.

Previously, he worked for 10 years at PwC as an auditor for banks and funds in Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Jurek Meemken studied Economics at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (BSc) and at Mannheim Business School (MSc).

Artur Schilhabel

Artur Schilhabel:

Group CSO and Managing Director of SUNCATCHER Polska GmbH

Artur Schilhabel has been part of the SUNCATCHER family since 2022 as Group CSO and CEO of SUNCATCHER Polska GmbH.

Previously, during his more than 15-year career, he held various leadership positions in the renewable energy sector. He served as Managing Director of several companies developing solar and battery storage projects, including roles at Goldbeck Solar.

Artur Schilhabel studied Economics at the University of St. Gallen.

Dr. Jan Jacobs:

Managing Director and CEO of SUNCATCHER Engineering GmbH

Since early 2026, Dr Jan Jacobs has been leading SUNCATCHER Engineering GmbH as CEO.

Previously, following roles at McKinsey and Rocket Internet, he co-founded the metering point operator Solandeo with partners. After the sale of the company, he went on to run his own consultancy in the energy sector.

Dr Jan Jacobs studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin and earned a doctorate in organisational research.

Suhaib Abu Hmoud:

Managing Director and CTO of SUNCATCHER Engineering GmbH

Since 2026, Suhaib Abu Hmoud has been a member of the management team of SUNCATCHER Engineering GmbH.

Previously, after a period at Apple, he has held various roles and responsibilities within the company since 2023.

He studied Energy and Process Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin, specialising in renewable energy.
